Yves Borer

Yves Borer has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Yves is currently serving as the Director, Team Leader for Global Procurement at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd since January 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Director, Team Leader for Global Procurement at the same company from March 2019 to December 2020. Yves also worked at Actelion for a significant period of time, where they held various roles including Category Manager from February 2011 to June 2017, Purchasing Manager for Biology and Pre-Clinic from March 2009 to February 2011, Purchaser for Biology and Pre-Clinic from August 2006 to February 2009, and Lab Technician from March 2004 to July 2006. Before Actelion, they worked as a Lab Technician at Morphochem AG from February 2001 to February 2004 and as a Lab Technician in the QA Department at Tillotts Pharma AG from March 1999 to January 2001. Yves Borer started their career as a Security Employee at UBS in September 1998 and worked until February 1999.

Yves Borer holds a Master's degree in Business Engineering Management / International Supply Management from the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, which they earned from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Professional/Technical Diploma in Business Administration from KV Basel between 2004 and 2006. Yves started their education journey with an apprenticeship in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Hoffman-La Roche from 1995 to 1998.
