Our vision is to be the trusted hub of the private markets, allowing investors to authenticate once across all of their private equity investments. We deliver efficiently, accurately and on time through our web platform which we develop in-house.

Position Overview:   

IDR’s Global Operations Director delivers our vision in practice, driving performance for clients above clear service levels by continuously improving our processes, inspiring our team and optimising our technology.  

Responsibilities:   

Grow our services 

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of and fascination by the KYC requirements of private market participants
  • Scan the regulatory horizon and absorb feedback from  client pitches to develop a model of trends and opportunities
  • Create a clear profile of each of our existing clients, their future activity and how we can help them succeed
  • Identify and communicate the principal target market segments and buyer personas
  • Build relationships with existing clients that are founded on reliable expertise and grow our wallet share.

Deliver our services: 

Process and Control: 

  • Develop, oversee, and continually improve the operational control framework.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Oversee the delivery of the Service Operations Control 2 report and its underlying controls.

Reporting and Forecasting: 

  • Review and enhance management information and reporting systems.
  • Provide clear performance reporting vs our group Service Level Agreement and forecast future requirements on a rolling basis.
  • Streamline the forecasting process and ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with operational team leads to integrate financial metrics into all services and client management processes.

Service Delivery and Improvement: 

  • Optimise task management, utilisation, and financial metrics using technology.
  • Determine and communicate clear daily and progressive performance measures for all staff.
  • Coach Operations Leads and their teams to enhance service delivery and drive continuous improvement.

Technology Integration: 

  • Own and communicate a clear vision for operational improvement through technology in collaboration with the Chief Technology Officer.
  • Encourage and promote a culture of continuous improvement through the generation of new ideas.
  • Foster collaboration between technologists and operations teams to develop and enhance services.
  • Maximise the use of technology to control risk and improve operational efficiency.

People Management: 

  • Recruit and retain staff aligned with the company culture.

  • Oversee all operational staff and drive performance through clear KPIs and training.

  • Own and improve succession planning and training programs.

  • Implement a clear progression ladder in collaboration with the HR Director.

  • Act as a role model and foster a positive and unifying culture across all company offices.

Qualifications and Experience:    

  • Proven experience as a Senior Operational or similar executive leadership role in a fintech or financial services organisation.
  • In-depth knowledge of global financial regulations, especially KYC requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing operational efficiencies and driving growth.
  • Strong understanding of technology and its integration into financial services.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced degree in business, finance, or a related field.
