Natalia Lahssini has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and air navigation. Natalia started their career in 1995 as a System Engineer at the Estonian Civil Aviation Administration. Natalia then moved on to work at Estonian Air Navigation Services, where they held the positions of Senior System Engineer and Chief of IT Group. In 2012, they joined Aéroports de Montréal as an Advisor in Airport Planning and stayed with the company until 2019. In 2021, they worked as a Program Director at Gestion de Projets Serge Cantin Inc. and is currently employed at IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A. as an Instrument Flight Procedures Design in the Air Navigation Division.

Natalia Lahssini pursued their education at various institutions and obtained multiple certifications in the aviation field.

Natalia started their education at the Riga Institute of Civil Aviation Engineering (RKIIGA) from 1987 to 1992, earning a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering with a specialization in Automated Control Systems in Civil Aviation.

Later, from 2006 to 2009, they attended Concordia University, where they completed a Master's degree in Quality Systems Engineering.

In 2011 to 2013, Natalia attended IATA Training and obtained an IATA Diploma in Aviation Study.

Throughout their career, Natalia also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they completed "The Canadian Legal and Regulatory Framework for Aerodromes and Airports-TP312-5" at the Centre Québécois de formation aéronautique - CQFA. In 2013, they completed "The Canadian Legal and Regulatory Framework for Aerodromes and Airports-TP312-4" at the same institution.

Additionally, Natalia Lahssini acquired the following certifications: FPDAM - Flight Procedure Design and Airspace Management and TP308 - Criteria for the Development of Instrument Procedures, Change 7.2 Basic & PBN Criteria Course from IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A. in January 2022. Natalia also holds an ACI - ICAO Aerodrome Certification from The International Civil Aviation Organization, and certifications in Airport Safety Management System Implementation, AviPLAN - Airside Design and Optimization, and PathPlanner6 - Airside Design and Optimization. However, the exact dates for these certifications are not specified.
