Sardar Hamid Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Sardar Hamid started their career in 1990 as an Air Traffic Control Officer at the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan, where they were responsible for providing Air Traffic Services and ensuring the safe flow of traffic. Sardar Hamid also served as Deputy Manager Air Traffic Services, where they implemented airfield clearance policies and managed aerodrome operations. In 2003, Hamid Ahmed joined Progressive Moulded Products as a Team Leader, overseeing machine operators, ensuring quality standards, and providing training. In 2011, they joined IDS North America as a Flight Procedures Designer, contributing to the development of flight procedures. Currently, they are employed at IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A as a Flight Procedure Designer.

Sardar Hamid Ahmed started their education at PN School in Karasaz, Karachi from 1968 to 1976. Sardar Hamid then attended Govt. Aisha Bawany Science College from 1976 to 1979, where their degree and field of study are not specified. Following this, they enrolled at Govt. Islamia Science College in Karachi from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, majoring in Physics and Statistics. Additionally, during the same period from 1981 to 1983, Sardar Hamid Ahmed pursued a B.Sc degree in Statistics, Mathematics, and Physics at Karachi University.
