Sam Maggs

Sam Maggs is a proficient storyteller with a diverse background in comics and gaming. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Brand & Content Strategy at Critical Role since September 2023, Sam has also contributed as a comics writer for Dark Horse Comics and IDW Publishing. Notable works include "Critical Role: Mighty Nein Origins" and various titles in the Marvel and Star Wars franchises. Previous roles include Narrative Lead at Wizards of the Coast and writing positions at Aspyr Media, Sledgehammer Games, and Midwinter Entertainment. Sam holds a Master of Arts in Literatures of Modernity from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and Film Studies from Western University.
