Heba Alashqar abu Meteir

Heba Alashqar Abu Meteir is an experienced Machine Learning and Computer Vision Engineer currently employed at IDWise since December 2021. Previously, Heba worked as a Trainer for the "Digital Inclusion" program at KUDRA and SGDD-ASAM, where training focused on digital awareness and literacy for refugee committees in Turkey. Prior roles include serving as a FSL Project Officer at violet organization, overseeing a cash for work project benefiting over 1,300 individuals, and as a Remote Volunteer Data Assistant for the IOM - UN Migration, where a user interface application for managing data was developed. Heba co-founded Zomoroda Start-up Company and contributed as a Teaching Assistant at The Islamic University of Gaza, instructing various IT lab courses. Heba holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Gaziantep Üniversitesi and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems from The Islamic University of Gaza.
