Msc Dr Omar al Hashimi Beng Ph.D., Fhea, Miet (Hons)

Omar Al Hashimi holds a BEng (Hons), MSc, and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering, with extensive experience in academia and the IT industry. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and Course Director of Computing and Information Technology at the University of West London, Omar oversees the Information Technology program, leads various modules, supervises research, and is involved in curriculum development. Additionally, Omar contributes as a journal reviewer for multiple scientific organizations, including the Institution of Engineering and Technology and IEEE Computer Society. Previous roles include delivering digital learning at London South Bank University, serving as an internal examiner at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Oman, and managing IT solutions at Star Computer Solutions. Omar is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
