Sijie Ran

Sijie Ran is a Magnetic Engineer at Quadrant Solutions and serves as Chair for the IEEE Magnetics Society's joint chapter between San Francisco and Santa Clara Valley, having previously held the position of Vice Chair/Program Chair. Sijie Ran has extensive research experience in medical device development and biomedical applications, including leadership roles in projects involving electromagnetic systems and micro-robot control at Bionaut Labs and Drexel University. Academic credentials include a PhD and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, alongside a Bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Contributions span multiple research projects on topics such as transcranial magnetic stimulation and nanoparticle guiding for medical applications, demonstrating a strong background in both practical engineering and advanced research methodologies.
