Joshiga Ravikumar is an experienced student representative and leader within various organizations, currently serving as the Section Student Representative for IEEE Sri Lanka Section and Vice Chair of IEEE Innovation Nation Sri Lanka. In addition to these roles, Joshiga has contributed as Co-Chair for the Mini Organizing Committee of Uva Province and Chairperson for the Women In Engineering Affinity Group of IEEE UWU SB. Notably, Joshiga also holds positions in multiple clubs and institutions, including Assistant Secretary at the Gavel Club of Uva Wellassa University and Chief Coordinator for the Leo Club of Uva Wellassa University. As a member of professional organizations such as BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and AIESEC Sri Lanka, Joshiga demonstrates a strong commitment to community engagement and professional development while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Technology at Uva Wellassa University.

Formally introduced in Sri Lanka on the 14th of November 2003, IEEE Sri Lanka Section (member of IEEE Region 10) is growing and expanding at an accelerated pace since then, achieving immense success. The vibrant community of the IEEE Sri Lanka Section comprises of University academic staff members, industry professionals and university students across the country. Sri Lanka section has been established to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity and for the advancement of technical professionalism. Our aim is to be the platform of the global technical community for the aspiring tech professionals of tomorrow.
