Tharaka Munasinghe

Tharaka Munasinghe is an experienced professional currently serving as the Governance Initiative Lead and a member of the Operations Task Force at IEEE Young Professionals since April 2023. Munasinghe also holds the position of Secretary at IEEE Sri Lanka Section SIGHT and works as a Project Manager at Ambrum Solutions. Since August 2018, Munasinghe has been involved with IEEE Sri Lanka Section in various capacities, including Student Member and SAC Membership Development Sub-Committee Lead. Previous roles include Secretary, Assistant Secretary, and Executive Committee Member at IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka, alongside a significant tenure as a Business Analyst at Unicorn Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd. Munasinghe contributed as an Article Writer for Medium and held several editorial roles within IEEE-affiliated organizations. Munasinghe holds a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology and Management from the University of Moratuwa and a Post Graduate Diploma in IT from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
