Burak Kantarci

Burak Kantarci is a Full Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Ottawa, with a career spanning multiple academic positions including Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Kantarci serves as a Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Systems Council and holds the position of Director at the Smart Connected Vehicles Innovation Centre. Prior experience includes tenures as Assistant Professor and Courtesy Faculty at Clarkson University, along with postdoctoral research at the University of Ottawa focusing on energy-efficient communications and smart grid design. Education includes a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, complemented by both an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in the same field.
