Alex Kraus

Alex Kraus serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of the Mobility Division at TÜV SÜD, a position held since June 2010, overseeing global mobility businesses and fostering relations with various industry stakeholders. Responsibilities encompass vehicle type approvals, safety assessments, emission testing, and the development of services in highly automated driving and vehicle-related cybersecurity. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Automotive and Vice President of Automotive Certification, as well as strategic roles in Asia Pacific. In addition to TÜV SÜD, Alex is the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board for IAMTS, focusing on the standardization of automated driving methodologies, and serves as a Board Member at the IEEE Standards Association.
