Chair, IEEE P802.3dj Task Force at IEEE802

John D'Ambrosia is an accomplished engineer and leader in the field of Ethernet standards, currently serving as Chair of the IEEE P802.3dj Task Force at IEEE802 since January 2023, where the focus is on developing high-speed Ethernet solutions. D'Ambrosia holds extensive experience within the IEEE 802.3 Ethernet Working Group, having chaired multiple task forces and study groups dedicated to various Ethernet advancements, including initiatives for 800 GbE and exceeding 400 GbE capabilities. With a distinguished engineering career that includes roles at FutureWei Technologies as a Distinguished Engineer and prior positions at companies such as Dell and Force10 Networks, D'Ambrosia has significantly contributed to Ethernet technology while also engaging in advisory roles for industry consortia and serving as Recording Secretary for the IEEE 802 LMSC Executive Committee. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Engineering Management from National Technological University and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering Technology from Capital College, Pennsylvania State University.
