Babu Babel

Babu Babel has a diverse work experience spanning across several companies. Babu served as the Non-Executive Independent Director at Secure Meters Limited since October 2016, as well as at RR Kabel Limited since November 2017. In addition, they have held various roles at the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA), including President from September 2015 to September 2016, and Past President from October 2016 onwards. Babu Babel also has significant experience at Secure Meters, where they held the position of Joint Managing Director from July 1988 to October 2016. Babu served as the Managing Director at PRI Ltd. from 1996 to 2007. Furthermore, Babu Babel worked as an Engineer at Hindalco Industries Limited from 1975 to 1978.

Babu Babel attended Vidya Bhawan Udaipur from 1963 to 1969. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) in Varanasi between 1970 and 1975.
