Zachariah Simon

Zachariah Simon serves as the Executive Director at The Study Abroad Foundation (SAF) within IES Abroad since January 2022, following various roles including Assistant Director and Program Development Manager at SAF. With extensive experience in developing short-term study abroad programs for students from East Asia, Zachariah has a background in program coordination and customization. As a freelance contractor for RED VELVET since February 2016, responsibilities include managing high-end event productions and providing on-site support. Prior experience includes senior roles at Texas Global at The University of Texas at Austin, where Zachariah coordinated global academic programs and managed program budgets. Earlier career highlights involve serving as a Program Coordinator at SAF and as an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan, where contributions included curriculum development and cultural exchange facilitation. Zachariah holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and East Asian Studies from Wittenberg University.
