Antero. J. Alvarado

Antero J. Alvarado is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Regional Director for Venezuela at Gas Energy Latin America since August 2012. In addition to this role, Antero has been a guest professor in the natural gas module of the hydrocarbons program at IESA since February 2014. Antero's prior experience includes positions as a consultant in geopolitical issues related to oil and gas at Global Business Consultants from 2009 to 2012, and as an energy analyst at IPD Latin America from 2008 to 2009. Antero began a career in energy research as a researcher at the Centro Internacional de Energia y Ambiente IESA in early 2008 and undertook an internship at Thomson Reuters in the commodities and energy sector in 2007. Antero holds a Master’s degree in Energy Economics from IFP School and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad Centro Occidental 'Lisandro Alvarado'.
