Kevin Arturo Garza has a diverse range of work experience in quality management and process improvement. Kevin Arturo started in 2014 as a Die Cutting Area Supervisor/Process Engineering Intern at Cartograf SA of CV, where they implemented methodologies such as 5's, Kaizen, and Poka Yoke, and supervised the area's labor people. In 2015, they interned as a Process Improvement Engineer at Cook Children's Health Care System, where they created warehouse layouts using AutoCAD and conducted statistical process control data analysis. Later in 2015, they joined IEWC as a Quality Assistant, responsible for maintaining records, coordinating quality information surveys, and controlling block stock inventory. Kevin Arturo then advanced to the position of Quality Specialist, leading several Six Sigma projects and achieving significant improvements in dppms reduction. Currently, they serve as the Lead Quality Specialist, overseeing the CALA Region (Caribe and Latin-America) and South US facilities.
Kevin Arturo Garza obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Kevin Arturo has also acquired several additional certifications, including Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2022, Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2021, Core Tools from CGP | Consultoria Global en Productividad in 2019, Certified LEAN Six Sigma Yellow Belt from ISCEA - International Supply Chain Education Alliance in 2013, and TL 9000 Internal Auditor from The DESARA Group (year unspecified).
