Chua Woon Yang

Chua Woon Yang has a diverse work experience history. Chua started their career in 2011 as a Lieutenant (NS) in the Republic of Singapore Navy, serving until 2012. In 2014, they became a Small Business Owner at DartsHouse Asia until 2016. Chua then took on an internship as an Events & Communication Intern at CSM Sport & Entertainment from March to December 2015. In 2017, they worked as a Sales Consultant at Verz Design Pte Ltd until 2018. Since 2018, they have been working at iFAST Corporation Ltd. Initially, they worked as an Executive in Product Support and Services until November 2019. From November 2019 to May 2021, they served as an Executive/Senior Executive in Risk Management. Following that, they were an Assistant Manager in AML and Risk from May 2021 to January 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Manager in Risk Management at iFAST Corporation Ltd.

Chua Woon Yang completed their education at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2012 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Sports Science and Management. Prior to that, they attended Hwa Chong Institution from 2004 to 2009, completing the Integrated Programme and GCE 'A' Levels. In addition to their formal education, Chua Woon Yang obtained various certifications, including Series 27 Financial & Operations Principal and Series 24 General Securities Principal from FINRA in 2022, Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMLS) from ACAMS in 2022, and passed CFA Level 1 from CFA Institute in 2018. Chua also acquired certifications in The R Programming Environment and Data-driven Decision Making from Coursera in 2018 and 2017 respectively, as well as a Google Adwords Certification from Google in 2017.
