Abhijit Chikate

Abhijit Chikate has diverse work experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and materials management. Abhijit is currently employed as a Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing at IFB Industries Ltd, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Manager Strategic Sourcing at the same company from March 2021 to August 2023. Abhijit also has experience as a Procurement Manager at Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India Limited from December 2017 to February 2021. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Manager Materials at Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. from September 2013 to November 2017. Abhijit was responsible for various tasks such as evaluating and finalizing contracts, developing new suppliers, and implementing cost-saving measures. Abhijit achieved notable success in improving efficiency, quality, and cost management. Abhijit also worked as an Engineer Purchase at Hyva Group from July 2011 to August 2013, where they played a crucial role in costing and procuring hydraulic components.

Abhijit Chikate completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 2007 to 2011. Abhijit then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2015 to 2017.
