Raakel Koittola

Raakel Koittola has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Raakel began their career as a Sales Representative at Drom ry, a creative association for culture and arts, before moving on to work as a Parliamentary assistant to an MP at the Parliament of Finland. During this time, they also served as a member of the Equality Committee of Parliament and Assistant Coordinator of a parliamentary group. Raakel then joined Rekrytointitalli Oy as a Sales Representative and later worked at Mediaplanet as an Account Manager and Project Manager. Raakel also worked as a Freelance Columnist and Writer, and as a Sales Manager at HIFK Fotboll Ab, the football section of HIFK, a well-known professional sports club in Finland. Raakel further enhanced their sales and marketing skills as a Key Account Manager and Sales Manager at AKK-Motorsport ry & AKK Sports Ltd. Raakel has demonstrated leadership qualities serving as the Chair and Member of the Board at Sponsorointi & Tapahtumat ry, and as a Board Member at Helsingin Myynnin ja Markkinoinnin Ammattilaiset ry. Currently, Raakel holds the position of Marketing and Sustainability Director at IFK Helsinki. Their experience includes roles focused on sales, marketing, sustainability, event management, project coordination, and account management.

Raakel Koittola completed their secondary education at Nurmon Lukio from 2004 to 2006. Raakel then pursued a Master of Theology degree at the University of Helsinki from 2007 to 2013. Their degree focused on church history, United States Church History, social history, and political science.
