Anthony Bertucci is a researcher currently at IFREMER, leading the Research Chair in "Contaminants, Sea and Health" since September 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a research assistant at INRAE, focusing on the impact of environmental factors on the gut microbiota of European eels, and at Université de Bordeaux, where molecular assessments of trace metals in freshwater bivalves were conducted. Early roles involved molecular and physiological studies on corals during a PhD at the Centre Scientifique de Monaco and teaching assistance at Université Nice Sophia Antipolis. Anthony holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences, Oceanography from Aix-Marseille University, a Master’s in Ecology & Evolution, and a Bachelor’s in Life and Health Sciences, both from Université Côte d'Azur.
