Debra McCowan

Debra McCowan is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in human resources and organizational development. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at IFS since October 2024, McCowan has also held significant positions such as Executive Vice President and Global Chief Human Resources Officer at NetApp until April 2024 and Chief Human Resources Officer at Equinix from November 2013 to September 2018. Additionally, McCowan contributes as a Board Member at HealthEquity since April 2018. Earlier career roles include leadership positions at Avago Technologies, Hitachi Data Systems, and Telstra, where McCowan developed a strong foundation in HR consulting and business partnership. Debra McCowan holds a Post Graduate degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations Management from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from La Trobe University.
