Kevin Richards has extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

As the Regional Head of Business Value Engineering at IFS, Kevin's mission is to drive value realization for Enterprise customers through innovative solutions. The recent transition to this role has been a natural progression from his time as an Account Executive, where my focus on value creation and business process improvement significantly impacted operational growth and client satisfaction within the Resources sector.

At IFS, Kevin's core competencies lie in value stream mapping, value chain analysis, and strategic value proposition development. These skills have not only fostered strong client relationships but have also positioned our team as a leader in enterprise asset management solutions. My dedication to delivering tailored, high-impact outcomes reflects my commitment to excellence and the advancement of our clients' business objectives.

From January 2018 to October, Kevin has been working as an Account Executive, Resources at IFS. Prior to that, he served as a Presales Executive from January 2021 to December 2022. In his earlier role at IFS, Kevin worked as a Solutions Architect, Service Delivery from February 2020 to February 2021, where Kevin specialized in the Mining & Mining Services industries and also served as a Community of Practice Facilitator for Energy, Utilities & Resources (EUR). Before that, Kevin worked as a Senior Business Consultant from January 2018 to December 2020.

Prior to his time at IFS, Kevin worked at Ramesys Global from January 2017 to January 2018, where they were the Manager, ERP Solutions. Kevin also worked as a Senior Consultant - Pronto & RAMESYS from June 2016 to December 2016, where he led ERP implementation and support services.

Kevin has also worked at Scope Systems from February 2008 to May 2016 as a Pronto Senior Consultant & Project Manager. In this role, they managed and performed Pronto implementations and served as an advisor for month-end and year-end procedures.

Before that, they worked at A.S. Pocock & Co (CA) SA from January 2005 to December 2007 as a Forensic Audit Manager (previously Audit Supervisor), where their responsibilities included assisting with the separation of assets and liabilities and acting as a receiver for matrimonies.

Kevin began their career at Kirkman Lanfear Inc in June 1999 and worked there until January 2005. Kevin started as a Trainee Accountant/Articled Clerk and then became a Senior Auditor. Kevin completed their articles in June 2004 and was signed off by SAICA.

Overall, Kevin Richards has valuable experience in business value engineering, value selling, account management, presales, solutions architecture, ERP implementation, and forensic audit management.

Kevin Richards completed their high school education at Fairbairn College from 1994 to 1998. Kevin then attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 1999 to 2005, earning a BCompt degree with a focus on Taxation, Auditing, and Accounting. After completing their education, they obtained certifications such as IFS Learning Achievement - IFS Success Engagement Essentials and IFS Learning Achievement - IFS Scope Tool Essentials from IFS in 2022 and 2021 respectively. Kevin also received certifications in Agile Project Management and Prince2 Fundamentals from Lynda.com in 2016. Additionally, Kevin obtained the Accountants And Auditors certification from SAICA CA(SA) in 2005 and completed Articles - Discharge of Training Contract / Learnership Agreement from the South Institue of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) in the same year. Kevin also received several other certifications throughout their career.
