Ranil Rajapakse

Ranil Rajapakse is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in senior management roles at IFS since September 1997, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Sri Lanka Operations, overseeing a team of over 2,100 professionals in product development, delivery, and support. Rajapakse has progressively advanced through various positions at IFS, including Senior Vice President and Vice President, focusing on strategic planning, operational leadership, and global strategy implementation. In addition to contributions at IFS, Rajapakse served in multiple leadership capacities within SLASSCOM from July 2012 to June 2020, including Chairman and Vice Chairman, fostering growth in Sri Lanka's IT and knowledge services sector. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science from the University of Colombo and foundational education from Royal College Colombo.
