Magnus Nilsson

Magnus Nilsson is an accomplished investment manager specializing in green energy and infrastructure, currently employed at IFU since May 2022, where responsibilities include deal screening, analysis, valuation, and asset management in developing countries. Magnus has experience sourcing and executing investments in West Africa through a secondment in Ghana. Since September 2024, Magnus has been a member of the Advisory Committee for the Spark+ Africa Fund, focusing on impact investments in clean cooking solutions. With a strong academic background from Copenhagen Business School, Magnus has served as an assistant teacher in finance since November 2020, and holds previous positions as a senior analyst at Nykredit and PensionDanmark, where Magnus managed energy infrastructure assets. Additionally, Magnus's military experience includes service with the Royal Danish Navy.
