Natalia Svejgaard

Natalia Svejgaard is an accomplished investment professional with extensive experience in renewable energy and international investment. Currently serving as Investment Director and Senior Investment Manager at IFU since February 1994, Natalia specializes in the origination, evaluation, and negotiation of investment opportunities in renewable energy, primarily in emerging markets. In conjunction with a long tenure as Senior Investment Manager at Danish International Investment Funds, involvement in energy and industrial projects across the Balkans, Caucasus, CIS, and Central Asia has been pivotal. As an Investment Committee member at NEFCO Carbon Fund, Natalia represents IFU, participating in a carbon procurement initiative that includes various international stakeholders. Previous roles include Board Member at Ukraine Partner Group ApS and Senior Investment Manager at The Investment Fund for Central and Eastern Europe. Natalia began their career as a Foreign Relations Executive at Progaz, further enriching a robust educational background with degrees in International Business Economics and Applied Linguistics from respected institutions.
