Prarthna Batra

Prarthna Batra is a senior at Wake Forest University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree with intended double majors in Psychology and Communications, along with a minor in Counseling. Currently serving as the President of IfYou'reReadingThis.org, Prarthna previously held the position of editor and co-president of the Wake Forest Chapter. As a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, Prarthna has contributed to the executive board of the Gamma Delta Chapter. Other roles include hosting a weekly music-focused radio show for Wake Radio, writing for the student newspaper Old Gold & Black, and founding a YouTube podcast, "Power People and Prarthna." Prarthna co-founded Lajja Diaries to promote gender equality in India and has interned with United We Care and India Today. As a former Vice Chair of the Women’s Economic Forum, Prarthna facilitated educational sessions for children, and delivered a TEDx talk on Gen Z's role in climate action.
