Reto Meili

Reto Meili is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in development consulting, particularly in rural development, climate change, and international cooperation. Currently serving as Project Coordinator at the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property since May 2015, Reto manages bilateral technical cooperation projects on Intellectual Property Rights with various countries, providing training and support to private sector partners. Previous roles include development consultancy at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Inside Travel, Caritas Schweiz, and several other organizations, focusing on environmental sustainability, cultural tourism, and community development. Reto holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Anthropology, Geography, and Human Rights from the University of Fribourg, and advanced certifications in development cooperation and coffee excellence.
