Chethana Yerramsetty

Chethana Yerramsetty is currently an Abbott Research Park Intern at Abbott, beginning in May 2024, where technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills are applied in collaboration with various Nutrition Departments. As President of iGEM since January 2023, leadership capabilities are demonstrated. In addition, Chethana has been a Research Assistant in Biomedical Human Nutrition at The Ohio State University since March 2022, focusing on cell culture techniques and the development of testing protocols related to amino acid compounds and leptin mechanisms. Chethana also served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and a Student Painter, and recently held a position as a Remote Support Assistant and Intern at Ohio At Home Health Care Agency from September 2023 to December 2023. Chethana is pursuing a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at The Ohio State University, expected to complete in May 2025, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering in 2024. Educational background includes a high school diploma from Medina High School obtained in 2020.
