Lucy Pellenbarg

Lucy Pellenbarg is an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Public Health at the University of Florida, expected to graduate in May 2027. Currently holding positions such as Make A Wish Executive Captain and Veterans Affairs Director, Lucy demonstrates leadership and a commitment to philanthropy and veteran advocacy. Additional involvement includes serving on the Florida Blue Key assistant director team, participating in the International Genetically Engineered Machine competition, and acting as a luminary for the Honors Program. Previous experiences include research on PFAS toxicity in the Deliz Lab at the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, as well as internships at Moffitt Cancer Center and roles at Zukku Sushi. Also, Lucy is engaged in professional development through the LEAP Pre-Professional Society and the MediGators shadowing program.
