Antti Hiekkanen

Antti Hiekkanen has a diverse work experience in various industries. Antti started their career in 2009 as a Research Assistant at Tampere University of Technology, where they simulated bacterium metabolism with Matlab. Antti then worked part-time at Pirkanmaan Osuuskauppa, where they handled customer service, cookery, cashier work, and trained new workers.

In 2012, Hiekkanen became a Project Researcher at Tampere University of Technology, conducting a study on the health coaching market in Finland, which resulted in a research article published in a conference for biomedical and health informatics. Antti also served as a member of the Academic Board, representing students' opinions.

At Movendos in 2013, Hiekkanen was responsible for sales and marketing, specifically focusing on B2B sales and customer acquisition. Antti also completed their MSc thesis on the pricing of Movendos coaching tool.

In the same year, Hiekkanen joined Tampereen teekkarikonsultit Oy as a Board of Directors Member, providing advisory services for business development and innovative opportunities.

From 2014 to 2016, Hiekkanen worked as a Business Manager at IGL-Technologies, a supplier of software and wireless technology for IoT, where they were responsible for innovating and creating new business opportunities and customer acquisition methods.

Afterward, Hiekkanen joined Cinia Group in 2016 as an Account Development Manager, where they contributed to account development and assisted customers in enhancing their businesses through modern software projects.

In 2018, Hiekkanen became the Chief Operating Officer for eParking.fi at IGL-Technologies, ensuring that customer needs in parking are met.

Throughout their career, Hiekkanen has also been actively involved in the Student Union of Tampere University of Technology, serving as a Financial Advisory Committee Member and later as the Chairman of the board, overseeing daily operations, project management, and organizing. Antti also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Scanepo Oy from 2008 to 2016.

Antti Hiekkanen obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (Tech) degree in Systems Biology and Biomedical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology in the years 2007 to 2012. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) (Tech) degree in Biotechnology, Industrial Management, and Engineering from the same institution, completing it in 2013.
