Aida Marukyan

Aida Marukyan is a board member at IGLYO, a queer sista platform NGO, and was previously a communications team member at the Non-Discrimination and Equality Coalition from January 2018 to January 2022. Prior to that, they were the programs coordinator at the Women's Resource Center from October 2017 to September 2022, where they worked with women's and adolescent girls' groups to create a safe space of cooperation and co-healing. Aida also organized and facilitated consciousness-raising groups to bridge women together to discuss women's issues. Marukyan has built links with several women's and feminist groups and has coordinated volunteers' and interns' work, both national and international. Aida has also reported on the progress and accomplishment of the implemented job.

Aida Marukyan received a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies from Yerevan State University.
