Kate Sturgess

Kate Sturgess currently serves as the Director of Talent and Organizational Development at IGM Financial Inc. since April 2024, previously holding the position of Director of Strategic Well-Being Services at YMCA WorkWell from July 2022 to March 2024. Sturgess has an extensive background at Sun Life from June 2010 to November 2021, where various leadership roles included Director of Best Practice in Insurance Operations and Director of Lean Consulting, focusing on process improvement and organizational development. Earlier career experiences include program coordination at Transparency International, successfully managing fundraising and implementation of projects aimed at enhancing transparency across multiple European nations. Kate holds an IMBA from Schulich School of Business and has completed coaching courses at Adler Graduate Professional School, alongside an Hons. B.A. from the University of Toronto.
