Sandee Bachalo

Sandee Bachalo has a strong background in human resources and risk management, with a focus on pensions, benefits, and payroll. Sandee started their career in 2004 with Investors Group Financial Services Inc., where they held various roles including Director of Compensation and Director of Benefits & Payroll. In 2009, they became Assistant Vice President of Benefits & Payroll, and in 2017, they were promoted to Vice President of Pension, Benefits & Payroll. Bachalo joined IGM Financial Inc. in 2022, where they initially served as Senior Vice President of Benefits, HR Operations & Risk, and later transitioned to their current role as Senior Vice President of People Operations, Analytics & Risk. In this role, they are responsible for all aspects of people operations, risk management, and actuarial analysis related to pensions and benefits.

Sandee Bachalo obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Actuarial Mathematics from the University of Manitoba, where they attended from 1987 to 1991.
