María Sol Avila

R&D Analytical Researcher at IGM Resins

María Sol Avila has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and research institutions. María Sol started their career in 1999 as a student intern at QUICKFOOD SA, where they gained experience in physicochemical and microbiology laboratory work. María Sol then had a student internship at ZF Sachs Argentina in 2001 before joining Computrol in 2004 as an office employee, where they provided administrative support in the sales and customer service department.

In 2006, Avila became a postdoctoral fellow at INCAPE (Instituto de catálisis y petroquímica) CONICET, where they worked until 2011. During this time, they also held a postdoctoral research fellowship at ICS-UNIDO, focusing on biofuels and added value products from biomass through heterogeneous catalysis.

Avila continued their research career as a junior researcher at INCAPE from 2011 to 2017, working on various projects related to catalysis and petrochemistry. María Sol also held the role of a posdoctoral researcher fellow from 2011 to 2013.

Since 2017, Avila has been working at IGM Resins as an R&D Analytical Researcher. María Sol is currently responsible for conducting research and analysis in the field.
