Martha Gjessing Bakken

Martha Gjessing Bakken has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Martha Gjessing began their career at Deloitte Norway in 2014 as a Senior Consultant, where they worked until January 2018. In 2018, they joined Voice Norge AS as a Project Manager and later became the Head of Digital Commerce from July 2019 to August 2020.

In 2020, Martha moved to Cognite, initially serving as the Director of Customer Success and later transitioning into the role of Director of Customer Success/Senior Implementation Manager from January 2022 to January 2023. Finally, in April 2023, they joined Ignite Procurement as the Vice President of Customer Success, their most recent position.

Martha Gjessing Bakken completed their Master's degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 2009 and 2014. In 2012, they also participated in an exchange semester at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan, where they studied Computer Science, Finance, and Marketing. Prior to their master's degree, Martha attended Oslo Private Gymnas from 2005 to 2008, focusing on scientific subjects. Additionally, Martha holds three certifications: PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation & Practitioner, PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner, and PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training, all obtained from PeopleCert.
