Account Executive at Ignite Recruitment

McKay Simmons has been working in the sales and recruitment industry since 2017. McKay began their career as a missionary with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where they served in Costa Rica for two years. During this time, they were part of the Helping Hands organization, helping survivors of Hurricane Nate receive food, beds and a place to sleep. McKay also helped put out a fire that burned down nine houses and then helped clear debris and find food and clothes for the families who had lost their homes.

In 2019, McKay Simmons began working at Aptive Environmental as a Sales Team Lead and Sales Representative. Then, in 2021, they joined Hawx Services, LLC as a Sales Team Lead, where they were responsible for leading and training two different sales teams, helping new salesmen gain confidence, overcome objections, learn to listen, and reach their goals. Currently, McKay Simmons is employed at Ignite Recruitment as an Account Executive, where they focus on building genuine B2B relationships through email, phone, and LinkedIn. McKay'smain focus is to help companies within the renewable energy industry find the talent they need.

McKay Simmons is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Brigham Young University - Idaho, which they began in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2022. In January 2022, they obtained a certification in Sales Strategies and Approaches in a New World of Selling from LinkedIn.
