Susan Guardino

Susan Guardino has worked in the technology industry for over 30 years. Susan began their career in 1989 as an Application Developer for IBM Global Services. In 1997, they joined IBM in a number of roles, including Delivery Program Executive, Senior Portfolio Manager, Professional Development Manager, and Senior Project Manager. In 2009, they took on the role of Product Director at Newssift - FT Search, Inc. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at Praxair in various roles including VP Information Technology, Global Delivery Services, ITS Executive Director, Global Delivery Services, and ITS Director, Global Application Services. In 2022, they joined Ignite Recruitment as an Employment Recruiter. Most recently, they were the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at LyondellBasell, leading a team of approximately 525 employees and a portfolio budget in excess of $230M annually to advance the business through technology and transformation.

Susan Guardino has a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Clarkson University, which they obtained between 1986 and 1988. Susan also has an Associate of Applied Science in Data Processing from OCCC, which they obtained between 1983 and 1985. In addition, they have a PMP certification, which they obtained in 2001.
