Dr. Suzanne Paula Hunt

Dr. Suzanne Paula Hunt currently serves as General Manager Exploration at IGO Ltd since August 2023. Previously, Dr. Hunt held the position of Global Head of Exploration at OZ Minerals and BHP from October 2021 to August 2023. Prior roles include General Manager Production, Planning and Performance, and Head of Sustainability at Beach Energy Ltd, Executive General Manager WA Assets and Engineering at AWE Limited, and various engineering and optimization roles at Santos Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed production optimization and geomechanics. Dr. Hunt has an extensive academic background as a Senior Lecturer and Research Lead at Curtin University and the University of Adelaide, focusing on mining geomechanics and geophysics. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Geothermal Energy and Geomechanics from the University of Exeter, a Master's in Mining Geology from Camborne School of Mines, and a degree in Geophysics from the University of Reading.
