Jared Jacob

Jared Jacob serves as the Head of Business Development at IGO Ltd since June 2023, bringing extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Jared held the position of Head of M&A at OZ Minerals from March 2016 to June 2023 and was the Manager of Group Mergers & Acquisitions at UGL Limited between October 2010 and June 2015. Early career roles include Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank, where responsibilities included structured capital markets transaction management, and Portfolio Manager at Barclays Investment Bank, focusing on deal management. Additional experience includes a Business Analyst position at Credit Suisse and serving as a Senior Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, completion of the Governor’s Leadership Foundation Program at the University of South Australia, and further studies in Business Administration and Management at AGSM @ UNSW Business School. Jared is also a Chartered Accountant, having completed the Graduate Diploma at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
