Alessandro Costa Melo

Alessandro Costa Melo has extensive experience in environmental and sustainability roles, currently serving as an Analista de Meio Ambiente e Responsabilidade Social and previously as an Assistente de Sustentabilidade and Estagiário de Sustentabilidade at Iguá Saneamento since June 2021. Prior to this, Alessandro was involved in scientific research at CNPq from January 2019 to July 2020, working on projects that analyzed wind fields using data from geostationary satellites. Alessandro holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration specializing in Economics and Business Management at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, expected to complete in October 2025.
