Leonard Lim

Leonard Lim has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Leonard is currently the Head of Department, Medical Affairs at IHH Healthcare. Previously, they held roles such as Senior Manager, Licensing Inspection Audit at the Ministry of Health Singapore and Lecturer in Nursing at Nanyang Polytechnic. Leonard also served as a Nurse Clinician at Singhealth Alice Lee Institute of Advance Nursing and worked as an Education Systems Specialist at Laerdal Medical. Leonard has a strong background in emergency and critical care, as they were a Registered Nurse at Tan Tock Seng Hospital's Emergency Department and served on the HAZMAT/MASS CASUALTY/FIELD TEAM committee. Leonard has also provided medical coverage in international events and served under the United Nations in East Timor.

Leonard Lim has a diverse education history. Leonard received a Wilderness Advance First Aid certification from the Wilderness Medicine Institute, NOLS in 2012. In 2011, they obtained a certification in Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support from NAEMT. In 2009, they earned a Basic/Advance Simulation Course certification from the METI Institute, Florida, and became a Basic Cardiac Life Support Instructor through Singapore General Hospital's Life Support Centre. Additionally, they completed a Healthcare Simulation, Instructor Development Program from the WISER Institute in the same year. In 2005, they completed an Advanced Diploma in Emergency Medicine from Nanyang Polytechnic, and obtained a Hazmat Operator Course certification from Singapore Civil Defence Force. Leonard also became an Automatic External Defibrillator Instructor through Singapore General Hospital's Life Support Centre in 2004. Prior to these certifications and diplomas, Leonard pursued a Bachelor's degree in Health Science with a specialization in Nursing from the University of Sydney between 2000 and 2002. Leonard also completed a Combat/Civilian Waterborne Lifesaver certification from the School of Physical Training, Singapore Armed Forces in 2000. Earlier in their education, Leonard achieved a Diploma in Nursing from Nanyang Polytechnic in 1998, and an Advance Diploma in Emergency Nursing from the same institution in 1995.
