Katy A. Hendry, M.S. has worked in various roles since 2007. Katy A. began as a Grant Program Assistant and Supplemental Learning Instructor at Hillsborough Community College in 2007. In 2010, they moved to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they served as an Instructional Designer and Assistant to the Chief Technology Officer. In 2014, they became Program Director of Arc Gateway for Adult Learning and Support (PALS) at Pensacola State College. In 2015, they joined University of West Florida as a Senior Grant Specialist & Internal Grants Coordinator. In 2020, they were appointed as Assistant Director of Sponsored Grants & Contracts at IHMC.
Katy A. Hendry, M.S. began their educational journey in 2001, when they attended Paul R. Wharton High School. Katy A. then transferred to Freedom High School, where they graduated with a High School Diploma in 2005. Katy A. continued their education at Hillsborough Community College, earning an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in 2008. After that, they attended the University of South Florida, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Organizational Communication, General in 2010. Finally, they earned a Master's Degree in Leadership from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide in 2014. In addition, they have a certification in Social Media for Active Learning from Florida State University - SMOOC 2014.
