Okechukwu Amadi has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Okechukwu started their career at MTN in 2002 as a Mechanical Electrical Engineer, focusing on power sources, electrical distribution, and maintenance. Okechukwu then transitioned to the role of BTS Implementation Engineer, overseeing the installation and commissioning of radio equipment and transmission links. Later, they served as a Regional Rollout Manager, responsible for managing projects, human resources, and ensuring the rollout of new BTS sites.

Okechukwu joined IHS Towers in 2015 as a Regional Technical Manager, where they led network operations and maintenance in an assigned region. Okechukwu then became the Head of Operations, providing strategic and operational leadership for sales and operations in the region. In their most recent role as Associate Director of Operations, they managed multiple teams and created workforce and staffing plans.

Throughout their career, Okechukwu has demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to achieve business goals while ensuring quality standards and customer satisfaction. Okechukwu is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).

Okechukwu Amadi holds an Executive MBA degree in Senior Management Program from Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, which they acquired in 2023. Okechukwu completed an Organizational Leadership Certificate Program at the University of Central Missouri in 2018. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General from Enugu State University of Science and Technology between 2013 and 2015. Okechukwu'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rivers State University of Science and Technology. Okechukwu Amadi is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) by the Project Management Institute and as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) by the Scrum Alliance. Okechukwu has further obtained the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in 2022.
