Raquel Zuniga

Raquel Zuniga is a dedicated social worker with extensive experience in various social services roles. Currently serving as a Social Worker at the Institute of Human Virology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine since January 2020, Raquel previously worked as a Foster Care Social Worker for the State of Maryland from August 2017 to January 2020. Raquel's experience includes a Clinical Social Work Internship at Mosaic Community Services and a Social Work Internship at CASA Baltimore City. Additionally, Raquel has a background as a Supported Employment Specialist at Cornerstone Montgomery and experience in the service industry as a Server at TJ's of Calverton Restaurant. Raquel holds a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) in Behavioral Health from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and a Bachelor of Science degree with a Certificate in Women's Studies, as well as a focus in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
