Chris Eckert

Chris Eckert has extensive experience in operations management, currently serving as the Operations Manager at II-VI Optical Systems, Inc. since January 2020. In this role, Chris directs operations for the Precision Pattern business, managing various functions including production operations, process development, and manufacturing engineering. Prior to this position, Chris held senior roles such as Senior Operations Manager at MCohen & Sons and Value Stream Manager at Cobham Defense Electronic Systems. With a foundational career at BAE Systems as an Operations Program Manager and earlier experience at L-3 Communications, Chris has cultivated a robust skill set in staffing, training, budgeting, quality assurance, and cost reduction. Chris holds a B.S. in Commerce and Engineering with a focus on Operations Management from Drexel University.
