David Thomazy

David Thomazy is a seasoned engineering professional with a diverse background in project engineering and mechanical design. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at II-VI Aerospace & Defense since November 2018, David has previously held roles such as Project Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at various companies. In addition to engineering work, David is the creator and instructor for CADSessions, which offers online courses and instructional videos focused on the Onshape 3D CAD platform. David's career also includes experience as a Mechanical Designer at JAKTOOL, where contributions included the design and improvement of precision devices, as well as serving as Vice President and Cofounder of Sentinel Photonics, a startup recognized for its innovation in environmental monitoring. David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Bates College.
