Martin Guest

Martin Guest, B.A., LL.B., CFA, ICD.D, currently serves as a Strategic Advisor at the Investment Industry Association of Canada and is a member of the Independent Review Committee at Connor, Clark & Lunn Funds Inc. Martin also contributes as a member of the Financial Services Tribunal, providing adjudication on regulatory matters. As the founder of Counsel by Counsel, Martin addresses the unique challenges faced by lawyers. Martin has an extensive background in legal and compliance roles, including serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Manulife's Canadian Division. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, a Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and various corporate governance certifications.
