Aleksey Strelkov

Aleksey Strelkov has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Aleksey began their career in 1998 as a System Administrator at KANE Insurance Company, where they were responsible for Windows, POSIX and network administration, as well as some programming. In 2003, they joined Rambler as a System Administrator, where they were responsible for L2, L3 network administration and installing and administering FreeBSD for more than 2000 servers. Aleksey then moved to RU CENTER (nic.ru) in 2008 as a System Administrator and Specialist. In 2011, they joined LLC Kupishoes / Lamoda.ru as Unix and Telecom Infrastructure Head of Department, where they were responsible for architecture, implementation and operation of distributed enterprise networks for several countries. In 2018, they became Head of Infrastructure at ChronoPay, and in 2019 they joined iiko as DevOps Infrastructure Team Lead. At iiko, they were responsible for architecture development and successful implementation of an enterprise solution, as well as elimination of technological lag and migration to opensource.

Aleksey Strelkov has a diverse educational background. Aleksey obtained a Master of Science degree in Electronics, Computers and Network Engineering from the Military Engeneering Space Academy named by A.F.Mozhaysky between 1990 and 1995. Aleksey also obtained a CCNP from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration in 2001.
