David Yang, Ph.D.

David Yang, Ph.D. has extensive experience in founding and leading companies. In 1997, they founded Cybiko, a hand held peer-to-peer communication computer for teenagers. In 2004, they founded FAQ Cafe, and in 2005, they co-founded iiko. In 2006, they co-founded the Ayb Educational Foundation, and in 2010, they co-founded Ayb School. In 2014, they founded Yva.ai, an AI-driven real-time employee experience and performance platform, and was also a founding investor of Findo.com, an intelligent AI based search assistant. In the same year, they co-founded Plazius/Platius. In 2016, they became a member of the Band of Angels, Silicon Valley's oldest angel investment group. In 2022, they began working as a Principal at Visier Inc.

David Yang, Ph.D. obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Applied physics (solid state physics) from MIPT between 1985 and 2002.
